We've been living in Colorado for almost two years and haven't done a whole lot of exploring. We've been to Boulder, Denver, Estes Park-- and that's pretty much it! So when Paul had a Friday off, we decided to take a little trip into the mountains. Some friends of ours suggested Breckenridge. It's about 2 hours away from us off of I-70. It's a cute ski town. We didn't go any skiing, but we still found some fun stuff to do.
We walked around the town and looked at the shops, we went on the gondola up the mountain, we ate yummy food, went swimming, took naps. It was nice to get away for a bit and check out something new. We really want to go back sometime in the summer when it's a little warmer and we can go swimming in the lake and do some hiking.
Here are a couple pics I snapped from the trip...
