Lila: 10 months

Well this post is beyond over due. I took this picture of Lila a couple days after she turned 10 months.  She did NOT want to lay down on the blanket and smile whatsoever. So this picture isn't the best. And I had all these intentions of re-doing them... but not it's more than half-way through January and I haven't. So this will have to do- in all it's blurriness. This was seriously the best one out of the bunch. Which is saying something. Anyway, she is still the cutest! Here's what's new with our Lila girl...

  • Best thing hands down about this last month is that Lila got her brace off!! They did x-rays and everything looks great! Woo hoo! Glad this is all over!
  • She enjoys putting food into our mouths and trying to share her paci. Such a good sharer! Cracks us up!
  • Lila said her first word, "dada", and now a couple weeks later has just started saying "mama"
  • She's learned how to wave goodbye
  • She got her first tooth (finally!) and has a second one that should be popping through any day now
  • Lila loves walking around with her little baby walker. And she is getting good at walking while holding onto our fingers.
  • She loves massaging her food into her hair
  • She loves banging on pots and pans in the dishwasher
  • Lila is now tall enough to reach the piano keys and likes to plunk on the keys.
  • She's understanding more of what we say. She'll search us out if we say "Where is mama or dada?" That's been really fun!
