So I know that it's almost the end of January. But I'm still going to write this post. 2013 was a great year! It was full of LOTS of changes and new things.
I think I will remember 2013 as the year we "grew up" and became adults (kind of?) Our college days are now officially done and we are on our own with a "real" job, a house, and now baby coming. We feel so blessed at how things have turned out.
2014 is looking to be a great year. The most exciting thing is going to be our baby girl coming in March. This year will be filled with baby milestones, memories, and fun! I know there will be a lot of things that will change and that we will need to adjust to, but we are so looking forward to having this baby girl join our family.
I don't know everything that will happen during the year 2014. There are still a lot of unknowns... but I am looking forward to this year of happiness and growth. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE (about 3 weeks late! haha!)

One thing I love about the start of a new year are NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS. I was looking at the resolutions I made for last year and felt that I did good on some... and not so good at other. Isn't that always the way it goes though? I just love the opportunity of a fresh start and to reflect on life and figure out what you want to change and do better at.
I'm not going to post all my goals on here. But I do want to share one... as Paul and I talked about New Years Resolutions we wanted to have together, we decided that we wanted to be better at enjoying the moment. We have gotten into this bad habit of saying "It will be so nice when..." a lot. Which isn't all bad I guess? I think it's good to be looking forward to the future. But we really want to enjoy where we are at the present time and not always be basing our happiness on a future time/event. I don't want us to be saying "It will be so nice when she sleeps through the night" or "It will be so much better once we have couches or a T.V." Yes, it will be nice when those things happen. But there are things that are great right now!
