Wheeler Road Trip Part 4: St. George & Zions

Sunday we drove from Las Vegas to St. George. We got there just in time for a concert with a gospel choir at the historic St. George Tabernacle. I love historic tabernacles. It reminded me a lot of the Provo Tabernacle (soon to be temple now!) I also loved the red rocks surrounding St. George that the city is nestled in. We also went and looked at the St. George Temple. Wish we could have gone inside! I'm sure it's just as beautiful inside as it on the outside.

The next day we went Zion National Park. I have to admit, I thought the famous arch was there in Zions and not in Moab (yeah I don't know why I thought that?). I got a little confused. But even though the arch wasn't there, I absolutely LOVED Zions! I think it might have been my favorite part of our whole trip. We started off hiking the Canyon View Trail. We saw a cute mountain goat on the way. There were beautiful views- especially the view at the end of the canyon. Seriously breathtaking! Next we hiked the Emerald Pools, which had some beautiful waterfalls and some small pools of cool water at the top. I'm definitely looking forward to going back sometime and doing The Subway and Angels Landing.
