A Saturday in Denver

Saturday we went to the Denver Temple for the first time. We got asked to work in the laundry, which I had never done before. It was neat to be in the temple serving, but in a way I never had before. We folded a LOT of clothes, but the monotony gave me time to think and ponder. It was really peaceful. The temple is a little over an hour away from our house. We CAN'T WAIT for the Fort Collins Temple to be built. It's right across from the church building that we meet at. It will be such a blessing!

I love temples.
I love the beauty.
I love the peace and comfort I feel.
I love the direction and guidance I receive.
I love the love I feel from Heavenly Father.
I love taking a break from the hustle and bustle of life.
I love the eternal perspective I gain.

After the temple we went to the Red Rocks Amphitheater. We had heard that it was pretty cool, but we didn't know HOW cool. Those are beautiful and huge. They surround the amphitheater and from what we hear make the acoustics awesome. We are dying to see a concert there!

That was our Saturday. Still so much to explore!
